After the rain: Cors Ddyga / Malltraeth Marsh

After all the rain storm “Desmond” brought last weekend, the Malltraeth Marsh is looking a bit wetter than usual…


The main path down towards Bulkeley Bridge.


Ironically, this excavator had been making more pools just before the rains came – this pools a bit bigger than planned!


The geese, ducks and swans are loving it – they’re hard to see here, but the flooded fields are filled with them.

In the foreground is the drainage channel, with the fence that usually separates it from the field beyond half submerged.
